Box Score ITTA BENA -- Christian Wiliams was dominate throughout as he poured in 44 points Saturday as Jackson State routed Mississippi Valley State 90-71 at the Harrison HPER Complex to sweep the series. 

Matt Smith led MVSU (4-22, 4-12 SWAC) with 16 points while Davon Usher chipped in 15 and eight rebounds. Darryl Marshall added 10 points for the Delta Devils. 

Williams made 13 of 16 shots JSU (8-16, 7-8 SWAC), who shot 58.3 percent on the night. He made 11 free throws and 7 of 8 three-pointers. Kelsey Howard added 14 points while Jeff Stubbs chipped in 12 off the bench. JSU finished 26 of 32 from the free throw line. 

MVSU shot 46.4 percent and made 13 of 19 free throws. 

The Delta Devils will be back at home Monday at 7:30 p.m. against Grambling State.
