Box Score GREENWOOD, Miss. -- James Currington put up a career-high 20 points and eight rebounds Monday night to lead Mississippi Valley State to a 75-69 win over Prairie View A&M at the Leflore County Civic Center.
Currington accounted for 20 of 66 bench points on Senior Night as the Delta Devils (9-19, 5-10 SWAC) played their final home game of the season.
Anthony McDonald added 15 points and Jeffrey Simmons chipped in 12 as Valley ended a five-game losing streak.
Montreal Scott paced Prairie View (8-18-, 6-8 SWAC) with 14 points.
Valley shot 43.1 percent and dominated in the rebounding category, topping the Panthers 47 to 37.
MVSU will be on the road at Jackson State on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
