Box Score NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Mississippi Valley State Devilettes (2-6) pulled away from the New Orleans Lady Privateers (1-6) in overtime on Wednesday morning, 67-63.
Mississippi Valley State last played and lost to New Orleans in December 1993, 74-72.
With 24 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter, Lexus Eagle Chasing made a 3-pointer to tie the game, 58-58, to go into overtime.
Eagle Chasing contributed ten points to the board for MVSU while collecting four rebounds and three assists.
Top Performers:
Zaria Harleaux led the Devilettes in scoring as she made 6-of-11 points from the field goal range. She was 55-percent from the field goal range. Harleaux recorded 14 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
Anjanae Mueck was 55-percent from the field goal range as she scored a total of 13 points. She recorded seven rebounds, three blocks, three steals, and two assists.
Elisa Saffold scored a total of 11 points while collecting five rebounds and one assist.
Lexus Eagle Chasing contributed ten points to the board for MVSU while collecting four rebounds and three assists.
