Delta Devils to host Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M this Saturday and Monday

ITTA BENA, MS - The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball team will host Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M this weekend.
 
When, Where, How to Watch: 
 
When: Saturday, January 20, 6:00 p.m. and Monday, January 22, 7:30 p.m.

Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils
 
MVSU will enter the game 0-4 in SWAC play.

The Delta Devils enter the weekend coming off a loss on the road against Texas Southern.
 
The Devilettes enter the game with the SWAC's 7th leading scorer and 6th leading rebounder in Rayquan Brown (15.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg) after he scored 24 points and 17 rebounds at Texas Southern last Saturday. Behind him are Donovan Sanders (10.8 ppg) and Arecko Gipson (9.0 ppg).
 
Defensively, Donovan Sanders ranks 6th in the SWAC with steals per game (1.8).
 
 
Bethune-Cookman Wildcats
 
Bethune-Cookman will enter the game 2-1 in SWAC play.
 
Jakobi Heady is ranked 8th in the SWAC and leads the Wildcats in scoring with an average of 15.6 points per game. Wilson is also ranked 3rd in the SWAC and leads the team in assists (3.8 apg) Behind him Dhashon Dyson (15.1 ppg) and Zion Harmon (13.9 ppg) in scoring. Harmon is ranked 3rd in the SWAC and leads the team in assists averaging 4.2 assists per game.

Elijah Hulsewe leads the wildcats and is ranked 3rd in the SWAC in rebounds (5.9 per game). Damani McEntire is ranked 1st (2.8) in the SWAC, Dyson and Harmon are ranked 3rd and 4th in the SWAC in steals both averaging 1.9 per game.
 
 
Florida A&M Rattlers
 
FAMU will enter this weekend 0-3 in SWAC play.
 
Jalen Speer leads the Rattlers in scoring (17.8 ppg). Speer also shoots 45.6 percent from the floor. Behind him are Keith Lamar (13.8 ppg) and Love Bettis (11.3) in scoring.
 
Defensively, Keith Lamar leads the Rattlers in steals (1.5 spg) rebounds (4.6 rpg), and 3-point field goals (3.8 per game).
 
K'Jel Parker leads FAMU in assists with 2.8 per game.
