STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University track & field program got the outdoor portion of its schedule underway on Friday as they competed in the annual Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi State University.

Men's Top Performers:
 

• The 200-meter dash is where the Delta Devils had most of their success on Friday as both D'Lano Blevins (22.97) and Justus Snapp (24.64) hit PRs while Khalon Christie led the way with a time of 22.50 seconds.

 

• The other personal record to fall came in the discus throw where Jadarius Townes launched it 37.78 meters.

 

• Only one male participated on Thursday night as Kristian Miller competed in the hammer throw courtesy of a 31.58m toss.

 
Women's Top Performers:
 

• Out in the field, Alaya Rhodes and Poetrie Dace each fell just outside a top-ten placement regarding the high jump as they each leapt 1.55m.

 

• The lone event on Thursday was the hammer throw which saw Aniyah Thomas accumulate a distance of 28.78 meters.
