STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University track & field program put a collective bow on its regular season event slate for the 2025-26 calendar year at the Maroon & White Tune Up to begin May.
The Basics:
Men's Top Performers:
- Timothy Rotich was one of three Delta Devils to land top-eight placements, posting a pair of fifth place finishes in the 1500m (4:19.33) and 5000m (16:01.15).
- Bernardo McGraw was the only other runner to score, doing so in the same two races as Rotich by claiming seventh in the former (4:38.54) and eighth in the latter (18.14.87).
- Among the field athletes, Jusden Culpepper was the singular representative on the scoreboard via his distance of 13.53 meters in the triple jump.
Women's Top Performers:
- Jamison Ware took the third step on the podium for her 3000m steeplechase speed of 17:18.70.
- Alaya Rhodes leapt her way to seventh place in the high jump, reaching a height of 1.50m.
- Not one, but two ladies crept their way into the 7/8 allotments during the javelin toss as Nyla Snead got the spear-like object 16.18 meters whereas Senyce Rene wound up at 9.05 meters.

- The regular season is over for the women's side as they prepare for the SWAC Outdoor Championships on May 10-13 in Baton Rouge while the men's campaign ended on Saturday in Stark Vegas.
