THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State University Athletics has announced the 2026 Volleyball schedule, featuring a competitive slate of tournament action, non-conference matchups and Southwestern Athletic Conference play.

The Delta Devils will open the season Aug. 28-29 at the Betty Austin Invitational hosted by Alabama A&M. MVSU will begin tournament play on Friday, Aug. 28 against UMES at 11:00 a.m., followed by a matchup with Delaware State at 3:00 p.m. The Delta Devils will close the weekend on Saturday, Aug. 29 against South Carolina State at 11:00 a.m.

MVSU will continue non-conference action on Sept. 4 at Copiah-Lincoln Community College before competing in the Bulldog Bash hosted by Louisiana Tech Sept. 10-12. During the tournament, the Delta Devils are scheduled to face Northwestern State, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana Monroe.

Mississippi Valley State will host Dillard on Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m. for its home opener before beginning SWAC play at home against Texas Southern on Sept. 25 at 6:00 p.m. MVSU will also host Prairie View A&M, Jackson State, Florida A&M, Bethune-Cookman, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Grambling State, Alabama State and Alabama A&M during the conference schedule.

The Delta Devils will conclude the regular season with road contests at Florida A&M on Nov. 13 and Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 15. The 2026 SWAC Volleyball Championship Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-22 in Montgomery, AL hosted by Alabama State.
