BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Mississippi Valley State men's and women's track and field place at Samford's Bulldog Invitational on Saturday inside the Birmingham CrossPlex.
Men's Feild Events
Sophomore Elijah Johnson placed 12th in the long jump, landing 6.21m.
Men's Running Events
Sophomore Desmond Ferrell placed fourth in the 60-meter Hurdles with a time of 8.36.
Women's Field Events
Senior Michaela Brown placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 13.22m.
Senior Destini Banks placed 11th in the high jump with a leap of 1.48m.
Women's Running Events
Sophomore Darrione Joseph placed sixth in the 60-meter Hurdles with a time of 8.98.
