ITTA BENA, Miss. – Next on this year's countdown of Mississippi Valley State's 15 most memorable individual moments of the 2021-22 athletic calendar is moment number eight as both Chardea Berthelot and Jeila Fullerton notched their first career double-doubles with a combined 34 digs and 31 kills.
 
Fullerton set season-highs for points (15.0), kills (15), and digs (20) while Berthelot logged career-bests in points (19.5), kills (16), attacks (41), digs (14), and assists (3). The former recorded only three errors for a sparkling .353 hitting percentage and the latter tallied a team-high three service aces.
 
Berthelot stood tall as the team's highest point scorer a year ago, posting 159.5 points (2.18 per set), 121 kills (1.66 per set), and a team-leading 26 aces.
